" Having the ability to capture never-to-be-repeated moments in time, I think, is what defines a photographer. Whether it be a wedding ceremony, a high speed pass of an aircraft or the first smile on a newborn's face, photography is what memories are the foundation of. Today, the traditional fundamentals of photography are often challenged - anyone with a camera is a photographer. Whilst that may technically be true, the camera is merely a tool, whereas it is the eye, the idea, the creation of the image that makes the photographer. Securing 'the shot' first go is not just efficient, but rewarding, knowing that you have captured that moment with nothing more than the raw technology of photography. From hand-crafted black and whites to highly saturated machine creations, I have had the privileged of exploring photography in all it's gamuts and enjoy making a living from what I love. - Paul Sadler " |
